Do you suffer from pain with your lower back, hip, knee, or foot?

Because the feet are the foundation of your body, the structure of your feet can have a direct impact on the rest of your body. Due to a closed kinetic chain , a subtle change in the way you walk will cause a chain reaction accordingly in your posture and walking mechanics. In many patients, especially with chronic pain, it is very important to evaluate the structure of the feet to rule out any imbalances with the arch of the feet thus further affecting the biomechanics.

An imbalance in your feet can affect the joints higher up, such as your knee, hip, spine and shoulder, thus leading to pain in the affected area. The symptoms of poor foot mechanics if untreated may lead to conditions such as, chronic back or neck pain, hip pain, leg or knee pain, foot pain, plantar fasciitis (heel pain), heel spurs, Achilles tendonitis, bunions, and hammer toes.

The key to pain-free life could be right under your feet!

Orthotics are customized shoe inserts or insoles that are designed to correct your specific foot imbalance, foot posture and/or irregular walking patterns. Orthotics are used to reduce stress on the joints and strain over the affected muscles on your body by properly aligning the structure of your feet, reducing problems associated with pressure points, uneven or abnormal forces on the ankles, knees, hips, and spine.

At our clinic, we use a new state-of-the-art technology involving computerized scan to evaluate the structure your feet.
